Bar -B – Q, the Biryani & Kebab Festival Steals the Heart of the City
It’s the winter afternoon and the smell of a piping hot Biryani combined with Pyare Kebab — Isn’t it a deadly combination to resist with? If you just have to smell it instead of tasting, it’s a torture on you! That’s the joke came out from Soumitra Ray, an eminent singer and lead vocalist of noted Bangla Band, Bhoomi. And he is bang on!
The 4-day (15th to 18th December) signature event – Bar-B-Q took place at Acropolis Mall. Piping hot kebabs and steaming hot Biryani at Bar–B- Q, the second edition of popular Biryani & kebab festival mesmerized not only the food lovers of Kolkata, but also the people from neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan. Incidentally, there was an International Tech Conclave, #wordcampkolkata2022 going on in Kolkata during this time. And food-loving young delegates from other countries couldn’t check themselves but to visit this food festival.
Actress Trina Saha along with Singer Soumitra Ray inaugurated the most popular festival of Acropolis Mall in presence of Mr. K Vijayan , GM, Acropolis Mall amid much fanfare at the foyer of Acropolis Mall .
The festival was arranged in association with BHOJ ADDA, one of the popular social media food group as the community partner this year.
